President's Message
Welcome to St Kevin’s Rowing season 2009/10! Firstly I would like to thank everyone for the great job they did last season. It was because of everyone’s involvement that the club was so successful. Remember, it was one of our best seasons ever!!
This season I hope to have more Parents helping out in any way they possibly can. I know it is not always easy to attend rowing camps or every regatta but even the small things count. You may want to put your name down for the occasional sausage sizzle or donate a prize for one of our raffles. Every effort is appreciated, especially by our boys, and let’s remember, that is what it is all about.
You may even like to attend our Rowing meetings held at the school. They are very informal and everyone is welcome. Notification of the meetings is in the school newsletter.
This season we are hoping to have another of our movie nights. This was a great success last year and also great fun. We are also trying to organize a luncheon for the boys and their families with the intention of having some motivational guest speakers. If anyone has any contacts in this area please let me know. We are also trying to get as many St Kevin’s Past Rowers back to the school to attend this luncheon.
This season we will be going to Bairnsdale for both our camps. As mentioned previously it is not possible for everyone to attend but if you can offer your time please let me know.
My contact details are listed on the Contact page. Please feel free to contact me if you have any ideas or queries. I would also like to know if there are any changes to email addresses or if we do not have your email at all. It is very important that everyone is kept up to date with what is going on.

Attending a Regatta
Please try to attend as many regattas as you can. They are a great way of meeting other Parents and the boys really appreciate the encouragement. Remember to bring along your chair, some food and lots of cool drinks as it is usually quite warm. Don’t forget your hat and sunblock too!
Rowing gear for parents
As far as protocol is concerned you as well as the rowers can also wear rowing t-shirts and caps, and vests. We have special T-shirts for the "Rowing Support Group" - that's you! Come and have a look next time
